You can quickly set up libraries for all your documents and files so your teams can easily share and collaborate with check-in and check-out, version control, and other tools to help manage content.
You can also access content in Lotus Quickr content libraries from your favorite applications using Lotus Quickr connectors. For example, save documents directly into a Lotus Quickr content library right from Microsoft Office, or from IBM Lotus Symphony. Or, simply drag files from your Microsoft Windows desktop into Lotus Quickr shared places.

Lotus Quickr Team places are easy to create, fun to use, and don't place undue burdens on your busy IT department.
Click the Create a Place button to get started, and use the Lotus Quickr ready-to-use templates to jumpstart any project or team.
It's easy to use your new place with team calendars, discussion forums, blogs, wikis and other collaborative tools that help empower teams and keep projects on track.

Connectors

The Lotus Quickr connectors make it easy to use team collaboration along with other applications.
For example, you can access your team places, shared content and even collaborate from where you are without having to stop what you are doing, switch applications. Lotus Quickr doesn't get in the way.
You can, for example, easily move an attachment from an e-mail message into a Lotus Quickr library - that way you can send your team a link to the file, instead of clogging up their inboxes and your e-mail servers with all those attachments. Plus, the team always knows where to get the most recent and up-to-date information, since the document, attachment, or file is kept in the shared Lotus Quickr place.
Lotus Quickr connectors are also the "secret sauce" by which you can add a Team Place to your e-mail sidebar, share content in a Lotus Sametime chat, and use Lotus Symphony and Microsoft Office to drag and drop content with your teams.
Templates
Use Lotus Quickr templates to jump start any project and reuse team-based best practices
Lotus Quickr templates make it a snap to get any project off the ground, quickly. Instead of starting from scratch, use a template to get a new project up and running. Once you use a Lotus Quickr template to create a new Lotus Quickr place, you can customize the place to fit the needs of its particular team or project.
In addition to the templates that come "in the box" and which are included with Lotus Quickr, you can also create your own, or turn an existing place into a template to capture best practices and make a project's team place reusable.
